All payments are handled through Paypal invoicing.
For the time being, all invoices will be received from this Paypal address ONLY:
Payment Policies
First-time clients might be subject to a 50% up-front surcharge before production can begin. Clients will be notified of this in advance.
Balances for established or referred clients are payable upon receipt of invoice, which usually coincides with delivery of the final files.
At this time, Binary Bindery accepts no partial payments or arrangements.
Galley Proofs and Watermarking
Galley proofs are a vital part of the production process. Clients are sent a galley proof file for assessment and approval, giving them a chance to look things over and ask for any corrections and revisions. These revisions do NOT count against Aftercare points.
Galley proofs contain a 'watermark' of sorts. This mark will be removed in the final version.
Cancellations/Refund Policy
Clients can cancel and have their 50% up-front fee refunded at any time before galley-proof delivery.
Once the galley-proofs are delivered, the up-front fee becomes non-refundable.
Clients can cancel after galley-proof delivery with no obligation to pay the remaining fee. (Up-front fee remains non-refundable)
Advance- or priority-scheduled clients can cancel or postpone at any time before the galley-proof work begins with no penalties of any kind. Please note that repeated postponements or cancellations may affect future scheduling opportunities.
Limited Warranty
Binary Bindery guarantees its EPUB & MOBI files for a period of ninety (90) days post final delivery date. After that time, no refunds are available for any reason. Expiration of warranty in no way affects Aftercare points. Clients can still make those Aftercare changes for a term of two years after the final delivery date.
Binary Bindery is unable to guarantee the Smashwords or PDF formats. Both are subject to too many factors beyond the producer's (or author's) control.
